Green Bay Packers Star Josh Jacobs Arrested In Wisconsin Domestic Abuse Case

GREEN BAY, WI — Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was arrested in a Wisconsin domestic abuse case after police responded to a disturbance complaint over the weekend.

The Hobart-Lawrence Police Department said officers were called at about 8:37 a.m. Saturday to a disturbance complaint involving Jacobs.

Jacobs was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Brown County Jail, authorities said.

Police said the case remains an active and ongoing investigation, and no further information was being released.

Jacobs' attorneys said in a statement that he denies the allegations.

"Josh vehemently denies the allegations, and this matter is in the early stages of investigation with important evidence that has not yet been made public," his attorneys said.

"We ask for fairness and restraint while the judicial process takes its course."

The Packers said they were aware of the matter involving Jacobs but would not comment further because it is an ongoing legal situation.

The NFL also said it was aware of the report and had been in contact with the Packers.

Jacobs, 28, signed with Green Bay before the 2024 season after spending his first five NFL seasons with the Raiders.

He is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and was named first-team All-Pro in 2022, when he led the NFL in rushing yards.

Jacobs signed a four-year, $48 million contract with the Packers in 2024.
