Liquid CO2 Leak Kills Delivery Driver In North Metro
The incident was reported Wednesday morning in Spring Lake Park.

SPRING LAKE PARK, MN — Authorities say a delivery driver died Friday as a result of a liquid CO2 leak. Just before 9:30 a.m., the Spring Lake Park Police Department was dispatched on a report of a delivery vehicle in a parking lot.
It was believed the driver was in the cargo area of the truck. The caller said the driver was possibly dead.
An initial investigation determined the vehicle was delivering liquid CO2 and that a mechanical failure occurred. The driver tried to fix the issue by was overcome by CO2, authorities said.

There is no danger to the general public, according to police. The driver has not yet been identified.
