Maple Grove Officer Shot Man Holding Knife: Police
Officers responded to a home in Maple Grove Wednesday afternoon following a 911 hang-up call, according to police.

MAPLE GROVE, MN — The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has been called to investigate an officer-involved shooting in Maple Grove that left one man in critical condition Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities responded to a 911 hang-up call from the 9600 block of Trenton Lane just after 2 p.m. Police said they confronted a man inside a home armed with a knife. An officer shot the man, who was then transported to North Memorial Hospital.
