Maple Grove Woman Shot, Police Search For Answers
The woman who was shot is still being treated at a nearby hospital, police said.

MAPLE GROVE, MN — The Maple Grove Police Department is investigating a Saturday shooting that left a woman with serious injuries. Officers were first called to a nearby hospital for a report of a gunshot victim that arrived in the emergency room on March 16.
Police say that according to a witness, a person named Marcel McCabe was present at the time of the shooting. Maple Grove detectives would like to interview McCabe to further their investigation.
Per a KSTP report, a Hennepin County search warrant stated that:

"The woman's three children were inside the car where one of the children told police the shooting happened while it was parked at Famous Dave's Restaurant in Maple Grove."
The woman who was shot is still being treated at a nearby hospital, investigators said in a news release Wednesday. There is no immediate threat to the public, according to authorities.
