Portillo’s Officially Announces Maple Grove Location

MAPLE GROVE, MN — Portillo’s, the fast casual concept known for its menu of Chicago-style favorites, announced details on its newest location at 12251 Elm Creek Blvd N. in Maple Grove. The Maple Grove restaurant will mark the second Minnesota location for Portillo’s, following a long-awaited opening earlier this month in Woodbury. Portillo’s currently owns and operates 50 locations in seven states.

“We have felt so welcomed by our fans in Minnesota, and we’re excited to continue our expansion in the state,” Portillo’s CEO Keith Kinsey said in a statement. “Our decision to open in Maple Grove is a result of the area’s strong, growing retail and residential community. We look forward to becoming a part of the Maple Grove landscape.”

Once complete, the restaurant will feature a Prohibition-themed interior, drawing décor inspiration from the 1920’s era. The 9,000 square foot restaurant will include seating for more than 200 guests, a seasonal outdoor patio, and double-lane drive-thru, according to a news release.

The company has not yet announced details on when the Maple Grove location will open.

Guests to the new Maple Grove location can enjoy all of Portillo’s classic menu items, including Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Italian Beef Sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, fresh salads, and Portillo’s famous Chocolate Cake.
