Donations Pour In For Family Of Pregnant Mom Killed In Crash
The woman was identified as Casey Rose Myers, 30, of Holdingford.

STEARNS COUNTY, MN — A 30-year-old pregnant woman was killed after a semi blew a stop sign and crashed into her SUV, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office. The woman's 5-month-old fetus also died.
The driver was identified as Casey Rose Myers, 30, of Holdingford.
The collision happened Monday morning at County Road 4 and County Road 133 in LeSauk Township. The intersection is a four-way stop.

Corey William Planck, 46, of Star City, Indiana, was operating a 2000 Kenworth semi on County Road 133. Myers was driving her Subaru Forrester on County Road 4.
Myers stopped at the stop sign for traffic and began to proceed through the intersection. According to police, Planck failed to stop and struck the Forrester on the passenger side.

"Planck indicated to investigating deputies he did not see the stop sign," according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
Myers was unconscious and not responding after the crash. She was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital but later died.
"It’s is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to ATEP alumni, Casey Gunderson Myers (SCSU 2010) and her unborn baby," the St. Cloud State University Athletic Training Education Program said in a statement.
"She was a great classmate and friend who continued in health care after graduation. She enjoyed being a wife and mother. It’s hard to believe she is gone so soon. We extend our deepest condolences to her husband, young son and the rest of her family and friends. Rest In Peace, Casey."
"Casey is a wonderful friend, therapist, mother, and much more," reads a GoFundMe page set up for her family.
"Unfortunately, yesterday Casey has passed away due to an unfortunate automobile accident. Casey was expecting her second child at the time of the accident who also has passed away as well."
Myers' husband is the varsity basketball coach and a teacher in the Holdingford School District, according to the Star Tribune.
Planck was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
