Grand Rapids School Bus Carrying 22 Students Flips On Highway
The driver lost control of the school bus on Highway 2 Monday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

POLK COUNTY, MN — Twenty-two Grand Rapids High School students and one staff member were traveling to the Great Plains Youth Institute in Crookston Monday morning when their school bus crashed.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the bus was traveling westbound on Highway 2 in Polk County at about 8:20 a.m. when the driver lost control. The bus entered the center median of the divided highway and flipped.
According to school officials, 11 students and the driver were taken to nearby emergency rooms with non-life threatening injuries including cuts and abrasions.

Another bus was sent to pick up students and return them to Grand Rapids.
The school district notified parents of injured children. The crash remains under investigation.
