St. Paul Teen Killed Outside Restaurant In North Metro
Detectives believe that there are bystanders who have video recordings of the fatal shooting.
ANOKA COUNTY, MN — Authorities are investigating after a shooting in the north Twin Cities metro outside a restaurant left one many died and seven others injured. On Sunday, Dec. 22 just after midnight, officers from the Spring Lake Park Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of the Dala Thai Restaurant and Banquet Hall.
It was reported that multiple shots had been fired and multiple victims had been shot. Other area law enforcement agencies, local fire crews, and an Allina ambulance also responded to the scene.
Multiple victims of gunshot wounds were located and treated by law enforcement and medical personnel. One victim, a 19-year-old male from St. Paul, was dead.

Three victims were transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, two victims were transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, and one victim was located at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood.

Another victim, with minor injuries, has been identified, bringing the total number of injured victims to seven. None of the surviving victims has injuries that are considered life threatening.
