Woman Found Dead In Maple Grove House: Cops Call It 'Suspicious'

Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident to contact investigators.

MAPLE GROVE, MN — Authorities are investigating after a woman's body was discovered in a Maple Grove home Tuesday. On March 10 just after 4 p.m., the Maple Grove Police Department received a 911 call on a report of a 40-year-old woman unresponsive inside a single-family home in the 8600 block of Quarles Road.

Officers found the body and her manner of death appears "suspicious," authorities said in a news release.

Maple Grove police are working this case with assistance from the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. There is no known threat to the community at this time, according to police. This is an open and active investigation.
