Residents in areas like Coldwater Crossing, Hidden Creek, and Pinecone Lane can expect late-summer sealing, crack filling, no-parking signs, and temporary disruptions as crews move through the listed neighborhoods.
   

• Zion Mayer dartball team wins tournament (herald-journal.com) — Mayer residents can celebrate as the Zion Mayer dartball team swept a nine-team Carver County tournament in Norwood Young America, capping the day with a tight 4–3 championship win over Hollywood. Coming in with a strong 40–8 regular-season record, the squad powered through four straight victories, showcasing local talent from players and coach Jason Hoese.
