• Watertown-Mayer approves 0.57% decrease in preliminary 2027 levy (herald-journal.com) — Property owners in the Watertown-Mayer School District, including Mayer residents, can expect a slight decrease in the school portion of their 2027 property tax bills after the board approved a preliminary levy cut of about 0.57%. The levy totals roughly $7.9 million across general, community service, and debt service funds, with final details to be presented at a December truth-in-taxation hearing in Watertown.
