Anoka Project Manager Ahadu Asres Legesse Announces The Steady Progress Podcast

Ahadu Asres Legesse, a senior project manager who lives in Anoka, is developing The Steady Progress Podcast, a new series of practical conversations about work, leadership and career growth. The podcast is planned to launch in January 2027.

Legesse has spent more than 28 years in business operations and project management across the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. He began his career at Target Corporation in Minneapolis, later held project coordinator and project manager roles at U.S. Bank, and managed operational excellence projects at Medtronic in Fridley. Since 2020, he has worked as a Senior Project Manager in Business Operations at UnitedHealth Group.

The Steady Progress Podcast will cover the everyday challenges people face at work: managing deadlines, dealing with change, improving team communication and building a career in project management. Episodes are planned twice a month and will run about 20 to 30 minutes each. Early topics include the value of showing up consistently, why good project management starts with listening, and building a career and community in Minnesota.

The series is aimed at project managers, business professionals, recent graduates and anyone interested in career development. Legesse has said he wants to help people understand what project management involves day to day, from organizing a first project to leading teams and handling difficult decisions.

A graduate of Anoka High School, Legesse attended Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Metropolitan State University in Saint Paul. Outside of work, he plays golf at Green Haven Golf Course, plays recreational tennis and spends time along the Rum River.
