Experts Gather to Help 400K Minnesotans Who Suffer from Lung Disease

LUNG FORCE Expo brings together the best minds, latest research

Every five minutes, a woman in the U.S. is diagnosed with lung cancer. In Minnesota, there are more than 400,000 people who suffer from lung disease, including more than 2,200 who battle lung cancer.

That’s why, on October 12, experts will gather in Minneapolis at the LUNG FORCE Expo to present the latest research and resources, and connect people who are impacted by lung disease. The LUNG FORCE Expo is a program designed for patients, caregivers and healthcare providers to learn more about the latest trends, resources and research surrounding lung cancer, COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension.

“This event is a gathering of the best minds in lung health,” said Cheryl Sasse, the Director of Lung Health for the Lung Association in Minnesota. “The LUNG FORCE Expo provides vital education and resources for healthcare providers, caregivers and people who suffer from lung disease.”
