Hope Springs Eternal In May: MN Weather

MINNEAPOLIS — The start of May will finally bring temperatures up closer to normal, with highs near 70 this week.

"Gusty northwest winds will continue today, but less windy conditions will arrive Tuesday," the National Weather Service said. "By Wednesday temperatures will warm back to near normal and stay there for the remainder of the week."

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 58. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
