'Minnesota Will Be Great Again': Trump Endorses Scott Jensen For Gov.
For the second day in a row, former President Donald Trump has endorsed a candidate running for office in Minnesota.

MINNEAPOLIS — Former President Donald Trump threw his full support behind the Republican candidate for Minnesota governor, Scott Jensen.
"Minnesota finally has a chance to have a great Governor," Trump said on his social media platform, Truth Social.
"His name is Dr. Scott Jensen, the Republican Gubernatorial Candidate, and he will bring Minnesota back from the brink. Strong on both fighting Crime and delivering Solid and Sensible Education, the results will be quickly seen - and there won’t be any more fiery takeovers of police precincts. Minnesota will be Great Again. Dr. Scott Jensen has my Complete and Total Endorsement!"

It was Trump's second surprise endorsement in a Minnesota race. On Tuesday, the former president endorsed Republican Kim Crockett for Secretary of State.
Neither Crockett nor Jensen said they sought Trump's endorsement.

In a statement obtained by Minnesota Public Radio reporter Brian Bakst, Jensen said that while he has "not actively sought the endorsement of political leaders, we are grateful for those who have recognized our ability to lead and Heal Minnesota."
State Democrats pounced on the endorsements, claiming that Trump's support shows the two candidates are extremists.
"Scott Jensen has embraced the Big Lie, even calling for throwing our Secretary of State in jail. Now, Donald Trump has rewarded him with an endorsement," Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party Chairman Ken Martin said in a statement.
"Fortunately, voters who don’t want their governor to jail their political enemies and spread dangerous lies about our elections can prevent that from happening in Minnesota by re-electing Tim Walz."
