TWIN CITIES, MN — Temperatures will climb to near 90 this July 4 weekend, but there are also chances for rain in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
"Starting Friday afternoon, and continuing into Monday evening, temperatures will slowly climb from the 70s to lower 80s Friday, to the lower and upper 80s by the 4th," the National Weather Service said.
"Although precipitation chances increase by the 4th of July, uncertainties remain on how widespread or organized the precipitation becomes. Continue to plan for a mainly dry weekend, possibly an isolated thunderstorm, and seasonably mid-summer heat."
