My Wish is For Fatehi to Run in the Primary

As a millennial I live with the fact that many of my politicians are significantly older than me. As a woman I understand that my interests are represented by men. As an immigrant I know that those that make policy for me know very little about my situation. I wish for a representative that could represent me because they experienced by an immigrant, they are from my generation, and they understand the challenges woman face because they experienced those same challenges. So far very few politicians satisfy my deserve to be someone who is relatable to me; but then I heard of Leili Fatehi.

Leili Fatehi is an environmental lawyer who has done extensive work to defend our environment. Leili immigrated to the United States and she is a millennial. To me she seemed like the perfect candidate. Leili is someone who inspires me. Someone that proves that I can be represented by someone that I can relate with; by someone that understands my struggles.

Leili Fatehi, I ask that you run in the primary for Minnesota House District 63B. You inspire me. You give me something to believe in. You prove that just because you are an immigrant, millennial, and a woman that you still can be a community leader. You are someone that I want to represent me.
