Paul Davis to host 5th Annual Charity Golf Outing on September 14 to benefit Restore America projects in the region

St. Paul, Minn. – August 28, 2017 – When golfers tee off at the Paul Davis Restoration of Greater St. Paul 5th Annual Charity Golf Outing, they will be doing more than just trying to improve their scores. They will be helping support an important program that helps people who need financial and physical help to remodel or restore their homes.

“We invite everyone to enjoy a day of great golf and to help local families in need. The fundraiser has a great impact on our region,” said Caleb Brunz, Paul Davis office owner. “Restore America is the company’s program where we partner with the community and help families, children and adults in specific home -based emergencies,” he said.

This year through the golf tournament, the Paul Davis office is raising funds and asking for sponsors to help Denise Jones in Stillwater. Jones will receive help from the restoration firm to create a plan and proceed with work to address unfinished construction and help her make sure a much-loved historic home can be a great place to live for her and her family. The house was built in 1877. Since purchasing the home in 2012, Jones is only the sixth owner. Unfortunately, Jones met with an unscrupulous contractor and all work stopped at a critical point during construction. Then, Paul Davis representatives heard about the circumstances and met with Jones. The home had exposed foundation, demolition materials, and trusses in the driveway. Seeing the connection the homeowner had to the historic home and the unfortunate relationship with her previous contractor, Paul Davis’ charitable Foundation is helping the homeowner successfully complete the special renovation.
