MINNESOTA — A new poll shows that just over half of Minnesotans — 52 percent — oppose the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade earlier this summer. Meanwhile, 40 percent support the court's decision, while 8 percent are unsure.

The poll was conducted by Star Tribune, MPR News, and KARE 11 and was published Monday. It surveyed 800 likely voters last week and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percent.

Approximately 2 percent of Minnesotans say abortion to be illegal in all circumstances, according to the poll.

"I don't think that people should have an abortion at all, after all that's a child," West St. Paul resident Barbara Tuzinski, 92, told the Star Tribune. "She said she's been frustrated by what she sees as lack of action from states on abortion since the overturning of Roe."

Meanwhile, about 41 percent said abortion should be illegal in most cases.
