Poll: MN Republicans Within Striking Distance Of 3 Key Offices
A new KSTP poll shows that Democrats Keith Ellison, Steve Simon, and Julie Blaha are all at serious risk of losing their jobs next month.
MINNESOTA — A new poll shows that Minnesota Republicans are on the verge of winning their first statewide race since 2006.
A KSTP/SurveyUSA poll published Thursday finds that Attorney General Keith Ellison, Secretary of State Steve Simon, and State auditor Julie Blaha are all at serious risk of losing their jobs on Election Day.
According to the poll:

- Keith Ellison is up 45 percent to Republican Jim Schultz's 43 percent, with 13 percent still undecided.
- Steve Simon is up 42 percent over Republican Kim Crockett's 40 percent, with 18 percent undecided.
- Julie Blaha is up 41 percent to Republican Ryan Wilson's 38 percent. The poll found that 18 percent are undecided, and 3 percent pick a different candidate.
The poll's credibility interval is plus or minus 4.4 percent, which means all three races are considered "toss-ups."
SurveyUSA polls are well respected among political scientists. Data and analytics website FiveThirtyEight rates SurveyUSA as an "A" pollster.
