MINNEAPOLIS — The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a red flag warning through 8 p.m. Tuesday due to critical fire weather conditions.

"Warming temperatures and sunshine over the next few days will feel much more like a normal early May springtime than we have been," the National Weather Service said.

"Clouds return on Thursday with chances for a few weak showers and storms to end the week. Critical fire weather conditions are forecast this afternoon."
