St. John's/St. Ben's To Axe Gender Studies, Other Majors: Report

The board of trustees that governs the twin institutions voted to axe several major and minor programs in late February.

COLLEGEVILLE, MN — As few students are choosing to go to college, or attend for different reasons, the College of St. John's and St. Ben's has voted to remove several majors and minors.

The board of trustees that governs the twin institutions voted to make the changes in late February.

Among the majors being axed include Mediterranean studies, gender studies, and theater, the Star Tribune reported.
