Summer Heatwave Arrives This Week: MN Weather
The remaining snow in your yard won't last long with temperatures reaching the 80s this week in the Twin Cities metro area.
MINNEAPOLIS — Apparently spring does not exist in Minnesota, because we will jump from winter straight into summer this week. More seasonable temperatures will arrive later in the week.
"Summer-like temperatures are expected this week, with highs on Wednesday near 80 in some places," the National Weather Service said. "All good things must come to an end as a late-week system brings clouds, precipitation, and cooler temperatures back to the 50s."
