MINNEAPOLIS — Retail giant Target is pulling a Black History Month product from its stores and online inventory after a TikTok user pointed out that it mixed up the images and names of Booker T. Washington, W.E.B. Du Bois, and Carter G. Woodson.

"We will no longer be selling this product in stores or online," Target, which is headquartered in Minneapolis, told the Star Tribune. "We've also ensured the product's publisher is aware of the errors."

TikTok user Issa Tete, who bought the civil rights magnetic learning activity booklet from Target for Black History Month, said she noticed the errors as soon as she opened the magnet book.

"This is not W.E.B. Du Bois," she says, pointing to an image in the book. "This is Booker T. Washington."
