Good day, neighbors! William Bornhoft here with the latest issue of the Minneapolis Daily.

The proposal to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department and replace it with a new "Department of Public Safety" was soundly defeated by residents on Election Day, with 80,506 "No" votes to 62,813 "Yes" votes.

However, the measure was popular in Wards 2, 8, 9, and 10.
