VIkings Lose After Broncos Rally in 4th Quarter
The Vikings fell to the Broncos 35-32 on Sunday as the Vikings record fell to 2-10.

To begin the game, Jared Allen tackled Willis McGahee in the endzone for a safety, giving the vikings a 2-0 lead. Midway through the 1st quarter, Christian Ponder threw an interception that was run back for a Broncos touchdown, giving Denver a 7-2 lead. Towards the end of the 1st quarter, Ryan Longwell kicked in a 40 yard field goal to make it a 1 point game, Denver leading 7-6. In the 2nd quarter, Christian Ponder threw a 19 yard touchdown pass to Kyle Rudolph, giving the Vikings a 12-7 lead. Following a 25 yard field goal, the Vikings led at halftime 15-7. Early in the 3rd quarter, Tim Tebow threw a 21 yard touchdown pass to give the Broncos a lead, 15-14. Shortly after, Christian Ponder then threw a 52 yard touchdown pass to Percy harvin to give the Vikings a 22-14 lead. The Broncos answered back with a 41 yard touchdown pass, reducing the Vikings lead to 1 point. Early in the 4th quarter, Christian Ponder threw a 48 yard touchdown pass to make the score, 29-21 Vikings. The Broncos responded with a Willis McGahee 24 yard touchdown run followed by a successful 2 point conversion, tying the game 29-29. With a little more than 3 minutes left, the Ryan Longwell kicked in a 29 yard field goal to give the Vikings a 3 point lead. With less than 2 minutes left, the Broncos kicked in a field goal to tie the game 32-32. The Vikings, with a little over a minute and 2 timeouts, tried to go down the field to win the game. However, Christian Ponder threw an interception and the Broncos capitalized on it, kicking in a 23 yard field goal to win the game. The Vikings lost 35-32.

Christian Ponder played very well, going 29/47 on pass attempts for 381 yards. He threw 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Ponder suffered a hip pointer, but expects to play next week against the Lions.
Since Adrian Peterson was still hurt, Toby Gerhardt started again at running back. Gerhardt ran 21 carries for 91 yards.

The Vikings defense played well to combat Tim Tebow and his ability to scramble. The defense recorded 2 sacks, 2 QB hits, and recovered 2 fumbles.
Next week the (2-10) Vikings take on the (7-5) Lions in Detroit
