Minnesota State Fair 2012 Express Bus Service In and Around Minnetonka

The Minnesota State Fair will be providing the State Fair Express Service during the 2012 event.

Here are some of the scheduled pickup and dropoff locations, according to the Minnesota State Fair website.

Minnesota State Fair Express Service in Minnetonka

Metro Transit will be providing shuttle bus service every day from the Interstate 394 and County Road 73 Park and Ride in Minnetonka. The Park and Ride is located at the southwest corner of Interstate 394 and County Road 73. Buses will operate every 15 minutes from 8 a.m. to midnight.

SouthWest Transit

Weekdays Only

Wooddale Church, located at 6630 Shady Oak Road in Eden Prairie.

• Buses leave every half hour from 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Buses return every half hour beginning at 10 a.m. The last bus leaves the fair at 11:30 p.m.

Weekends and Labor Day

SouthWest Station, located at 13500 Technology Drive in Eden Prairie.

• Park in ramp only to avoid being towed. Buses leave every half hour from 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Buses return every half hour beginning at 10 a.m. The last bus leaves the fair at 11:30 p.m.

Shuttle Service Details

• The round trip fare is $5. Cash only, exact fare.

• Children age four and under ride free.

• Express buses drop off and pick up at fair Gate #20 on the south side of Como Ave. across from the Warner Coliseu.

• All express service is wheelchair accessible.
