• 'Annie' Returns to Chanhassen Dinner Theatres (lakeminnetonkamag.com) — Minnetonka students are in the spotlight as a sixth grader from Minnetonka Middle School West and a ninth grader from Minnetonka High School take key roles in Chanhassen Dinner Theatres' revival of "Annie." The musical opens October 9 and runs through February 28, giving local families plenty of time to plan a holiday-season outing nearby.
   

• Eden Prairie High School homecoming shooting: 18-year-old shooter arrested (fox9.com) — Minnetonka residents should know Eden Prairie police arrested an 18-year-old in connection with the Oct. 2 shooting at Eden Prairie High School's homecoming football game against Minnetonka. Two teens were injured, the game was halted and rescheduled, and investigators say the case may involve local Somali gangs as they continue to seek more information and possible suspects.
