• Tigers downed in homecoming clash with Howard Lake/Waverly/Winsted (stevenscountytimes.com) — Morris football fans saw the MACA Tigers fall 28–18 to Howard Lake/Waverly/Winsted in their Sept. 25 homecoming game at the local field, despite a strong ground attack and two rushing touchdowns from new quarterback Alex Asmus. The Tigers piled up 205 rushing yards but couldn't overcome the Lakers' 328-yard running game, and now turn their focus to a road matchup at Dassel-Cokato.
