• Nicollet Public Schools launches new STEM initiative (nujournal.com) — Nicollet Public Schools just rolled out a new no-cost STEM robotics program that will let up to 60 students per semester work with XPR robots in hands-on engineering and coding. Supported by Minnesota State University, Mankato and several industry partners, the initiative aims to give Nicollet students cutting-edge skills and clearer pathways into regional technical careers.
   

• Raiders outlast Tigers in 4-set battle (nujournal.com) — Nicollet volleyball fans saw a thriller at Nicollet High School as the Raiders dropped the first set to Springfield before storming back to win the next three in a tight nonconference match. Strong performances from hitters and back-row defenders powered the comeback, and the team now turns around quickly to host Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton on Tuesday night.
   

• Nicollet County farmers delay soybean harvest due to persistent rain (keyc.com) — Farmers in Nicollet County are holding off on soybean harvests as persistent rain keeps fields too wet for combines, even while statewide harvest numbers tick upward. Local growers near Belgrade Township and St. Peter say they're cautiously optimistic about yields and prices, but rising fuel and fertilizer costs remain a concern for the area's farm economy.
