Accelerate Northfield seeks volunteer tutors
No experience is required to become a volunteer tutor; just a desire to boost the academic achievements of Northfield youngsters.

The 2022-23 school year is almost here, so it’s time to consider becoming a volunteer academic support tutor in Northfield schools.
ACCELERATE NORTHFIELD is seeking community members to help Northfield students become LEARNING SUPERHEROES.
ACCELERATE is a program of NORTHFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOLS that connects community volunteers with classrooms in local elementary schools and Northfield Middle School.

Tutors meet with students on an individual basis or in small groups. While most volunteers are students at St. Olaf and Carleton colleges, there is a large representation of Northfield adults -- including people without children in the school district -- among ACCELERATE's ranks.
