Northfield Garden Club Plant and Bake Sale

The Northfield Garden Club will hold its annual Plant and Bake Sale from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, May 18th, at Bridge Square in downtown Northfield. A wide variety of annuals and perennials for both shade and sun gardens will be available. Club members will also provide home-baked goods for sale. Proceeds from this event go toward many beautification projects for the city of Northfield, such as flowers for the downtown and plantings in Riverside Park and other public spaces throughout the city. Anyone wishing to donate plants for the sale should deliver their potted plants to Bridge Square between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. on the day of the sale. Plants should be potted, watered and labeled with the species name, sun tolerance and bloom color. If you have questions, you may call Erika Tallman, the Garden Club President, at 645-6613.
