Digs Leaving Northfield for Minneapolis
Digs, which opened in 2001, starts a 25-percent off storewide moving sale on Saturday.
The message on the sign hanging in the window is simple: digs is moving.
And with that, , which has been in Northfield since 2001, starts its moving sale Saturday with 25 percent off items storewide with select deep discounts.
According to the digs website, the store will relocate to Minneapolis.

In the fall, proprietor Linda Schneewind told Patch that the store has plenty to offer, including interior design, in-home consultations, as well as winter knitting classes and supplies for hobby crafters. The store also sells whimsical gifts items, handmade jewelry and staff-designed T-shirts.
Digs' planned departure follows last month's announcement from Mary Rossing that she was and leasing the space to Coldwell Banker South Metro.
