Faribault Police Warn Residents After Car, Boat Theft
Faribault police are warning residents after they say a car was stolen and property was taken from a boat in the area.
With the warmer weather, the prowlers are coming out. Be sure to lock up vehicles, don't leave valuables out and close garage doors at night.
On Friday night, unknown suspects took three Lowrance depth finders from a boat parked in front of a residence, police say. Wires were cut. A red Ford Mustang was seen scoping out the area. A white male and a Hispanic male were reportedly inside the vehicle.
Also this weekend, a pair of juvenile males allegedly stole a car from a residence in Faribault. Austin police say they caught them this morning.
