Fatal Crash Near Northfield: Man Admits He Was Drunk
The August crash on Highway 19 killed bride-to-be Kacy Elizabeth Merseal.

NORTHFIELD, MN — A man involved in a fatal crash just outside of Northfield last August admitted in court Monday he was drunk during the collision. Brandon Dellwo drove an SUV the wrong-way on Highway 19 and struck a Volkswagen head-on.
Volkswagen driver and bride-to-be Kacy Elizabeth Merseal, 29, was killed. Passenger Tanya Marie Von Wein was injured in the crash. .
Merseal and Von Weine were driving back to Iowa from Saint Paul following a Bruno Mars concert.

Dellwo plead guilty to criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation, the Star Tribune reported.
