Northfield Culver's Has New Ownership

Thomas and Julie Zenk owned the restaurant since 2008 after transforming it from the former Southgate Cinema.

Rumors have swirled for the past year that the of Northfield was struggling and going to close for business.

It turns out that wasn't true, but the restaurant has changed ownership, according to the Northfield News.

Folks will now purchase their ButterBurgers and cement mixers from Steve and Jim Wernimont, who own two Culver's in Rochester, the paper reported.

"We knew there would be an opportunity here," Steve Wernimont told the News. "Many years ago, we thought Northfield would be a good location. It seemed like a community that would support a Culver’s."
