Northfield Pizza Hut Space Coming Together

Northfield's newest pizza joint is coming together.

Pizza Hut, one of America's largest pizza chains, plans to open at 1500 Clinton Lane, Suite D, which is the strip mall that houses , and formerly .

A wall is currently being built inside the space to separate the customer section of the restaurant from the kitchen. A building and zoning permit was issued from the city of Northfield on Sept. 20 for the space. The restaurant passed a construction inspection on Monday, according to documents hanging in the window of the store.

Several calls and emails to Pizza Hut's media relationship department have not been returned. A time line for when the restaurant plans to open is not known.

The pizza chain is currently hiring for a general manager, assistant general manager, delivery drivers, shift manager and team managers for a new Northfield location, according to its career website.
