Superintendent Tim Anderson and college leaders describe how the center expands civic-minded courses, work-study, and volunteering, aiming to build students' long-term commitment to serving the community and beyond. 
• Greg Garman (journalreview.com) — A man who spent his formative years in Northfield is being remembered for his sharp wit, artistic talent, and deep love of nature, especially birds. After studying art in Minneapolis, he built a life in Indiana and Michigan as a painter, carver, and bike shop worker, with his family encouraging memorial gifts to support prairie conservation.
