Historically more than 100 sellers and 100 volunteers participate each year, with about 2,000 people joining in the event. It is part of the annual White Bear Lake “Manitou Days” Celebration, and FLC volunteers and staff put their best foot forward to make sure these visitors feel welcome on our campus. In addition, FLC partners with the Methodist Church across the street for providing parking space for visitors and free lunches for all attendees. The Methodists bake pizzas in their wood-burning brick oven, and the Lutherans provide hot dogs, chips and lemonade – demonstrating a great collaboration!
So, stop by First Lutheran from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. if you want to experience a unique day of hospitality, fun (we have a DJ playing music and several inflatables available for the kids), free food and lots of opportunities to find treasures – both in the garage sale booths and in the people of FLC. Be a part of it!
