Mothers & More | Surviving Children: Putting Marriage First

Our chapter meetings return from a Spring Break hiatus by welcoming debut Minnesota author Meagan Frank, whose new book Choosing to Grow: Through Marriage is hitting the presses as we speak!

I'm not sure why, but I had no clue having children was going to be as difficult on our marriage as it was.  I think I was supposed to know that, but I didn't.  For a while I thought something was wrong with me.  I was increasingly dissatisfied with my marriage and I linked it directly to the arrival of children.  My reaction was more normal than I knew. - Meagan Frank

Since the kids entered your lives, have there been times when you or your spouse have wondered how to find each other again amid the frantic pace of parenting? In theory, you once chose to spend a great deal of time together -- perhaps that's why you became a couple in the first place!  Even though you see each other now, does it sometimes feel like you're not as connected as you once were?

Meagan will share her experiences and ideas about making the journey -- not to that 'old place' but to a new one that embraces the importance of the spouse connection to the entire family.

Visit the Mothers & More website for links to Meagan's bio and details about her book.  Please RSVP for this free event by phone or email.
