• Renville County probation office sees jump in caseload (wctrib.com) — Renville County’s probation office in Olivia is handling a much heavier caseload, with adult felony supervision jumping from 151 cases in 2024 to 225 in 2025. County leaders link the rise partly to more aggressive charging by the county attorney and active enforcement by the Sheriff’s Office. Officials say they remain focused on close supervision and reducing repeat offenses across the county.
