Midwest financial planning firm advances investment management expertise with the addition of new Chief Investment Officer
MINNEAPOLIS – June 14, 2012 – Wealth Enhancement Group, one of the region’s most respected independent financial planning firms, announces the addition of James (Jim) Cahn and his appointment as Chief Investment Officer. In this new role, Cahn will provide leadership to the investment management team and will be instrumental in developing investment strategies for clients.

Cahn’s professional investment career prepared him well to lead the investment management team. Cahn began his career at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and he later worked at Quantitative Risk Management, Inc. Most recently, Cahn was Chief Investment Officer/Portfolio Manager for Vestian Group in Chicago, where he oversaw investment programs, launched a hedge fund of funds and consulted with high-net-worth clients.
Cahn has a B.S. in Economics and Performance Studies from Northwestern University in Illinois and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
