Learn how to be your best health care advocate
Living with lupus or other chronic condition? Join LFM at the Maple Grove Library on June 17 for free seminar on health care advocacy.

When living with a chronic illness, our job is to take care of ourselves, which includes being our best health care advocate. Join Kimberly Dahline and the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota for a free seminar where she will discuss skills to better advocate for ourselves, manage provider communications, and organize information, all of which are vital to managing our health.
This seminar, which will take place on Wednesday, June 17 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Main Street Room at the Maple Grove Library, is open to those living with lupus and other chronic conditions, as well as individuals or caregivers who have family or friends with the disease. If you’re interested in increasing your own awareness about health care advocacy and time management skills, make sure to mark your calendar and register today!
While this event is free, we ask that you register ahead of time by Tuesday, June 16.

About the Presenter
Kimberly Dahline is a professional organizer with over 10 years of experience in the health care industry and specializes in benefits administration. She is currently an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). As a person living with lupus, she is empathetic to the frustrations connected with chronic illness and understands the necessity of staying organized and being one’s own advocate. Kimberly has also shared some of her health care advocacy knowledge as a guest blogger on the LFM website.
