Plymouth’s Miracle-Ear Makes Hearing Aids Big Business

The company has seen its revenue grow and is opening six more stores in the Twin Cities.

A Plymouth-based company is transforming the Twin Cities into a hotspot of hearing aid technology, according to a Monday Star Tribune article.

Miracle-Ear, formerly Amplifon USA, plans to add six stores to the Twin Cities area to the 10 it already has here. It has about 400 employees at its headquarters and factory.

The first-quarter revenue of the Plymouth-based North American operations grew 11 percent even as worldwide earnings of its parent company, Milan-based Amplifon, dropped about 3 percent year over year.
