• Gladys Lavonne Batdorf (pineconepresscitizen.com) — Remer residents are mourning the passing of longtime community member Gladys Lavonne Batdorf, who died May 26 at her daughter’s home in town. Survived by family in Remer and Bovey, she donated her body to the University of Minnesota for medical education, and no service is planned at this time.
