• Duluth negotiating a partnership with Animal Allies Humane Society (wdio.com) — Rice Lake already contracts with Animal Allies Humane Society to care for stray dogs and cats, and Duluth is now negotiating a similar pilot partnership. Duluth officials say shifting animal care to Animal Allies would free city staff to focus on animal control, while the nonprofit weighs space and staffing needs before any long-term agreement is finalized.
