City Switching to New Emergency Alert System
As of April 5, the City of Richfield stopped using the Code Red Community Alerting System.

Editor's Note: The following is a City of Richfield message.
Effective April 5, 2013, the City of Richfield will no longer use the Code Red Community Alerting System.
The City of Richfield is in the process of implementing the Everbridge Emergency Alerting System. The Everbridge Emergency Alerting System will go into effect on July 1, 2013. Please visit the City of Richfield Website or the Richfield Police Department’s Facebook page after June 24, 2013 to find out how to enroll in the Everbridge Emergency Alerting System.
The Everbridge alerting system is intended to provide mass notification to community residents if warranted regarding disasters or other information that residents should know about in an emergency. This system does not replace the outdoor warning sirens or our 911 communications center.
If you have questions please contact Deputy Chief Jay Henthorne at 612-861-9828 or by email at JHenthorne@cityofrichfield.org.
