Eight Richfield Nordic Skiers Earn All-Conference Honors

Editor's Note: The following was submitted by the Richfield High School Athletic Department.

It was an exciting and awesome day with 8 of our skiers earning Conference honors! .... "they did a great job" and "did Richfield Proud" !!!

Classic Suburban All-Conference Girls 

Erin Brault – 3^rd Place

Classic Suburban All-Conference Honorable Mention Girls

Leah Mohn – 13^th Place

Laurel Youngquist – 14^th Place

Classic Suburban All-Conference Boys

Jacob Beaudet – 5^th Place

Ben Nygaard – 9^th Place

Classic Suburban All-Conference Honorable Mention Boys

Zach Coughlin – 12th

Nate Luttenegger – 19^th

Stephen Peterson – 20^th

The boys’ team placed 2nd overall with 447 points only missing first place, Mahtomedi, by 8 points. Mahtomedi has dominated both boys and girls team results at all meets for years. It was great to see that we got so close to first place. The girls placed 3rd with 423, 2nd place Tartan had 460, and 1st went to Mahtomedi with 478.
