MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Voters in Hennepin County choose Democrats Hillary Clinton and Rep. Keith Ellison while also supporting Republican Rep. Erik Paulsen Tuesday. Clinton ended up taking Minnesota in a narrow contest with Donald Trump, while incumbents Ellison and Paulsen cruised to comfortable victories.
Vote totals
- Trump received 191,767 (28 percent) to Clinton's 429274 (63 percent).
- Paulsen received 18,2206 (55 percent) to Democratic challenger Terri Bonoff's 144, 199 votes (44 percent).
- Ellison received 234,234 (70 percent) to Republican challenger Frank Drake's 72,407 (21 percent).
