STOP.THINK.CONNECT.™, Minnesota D.A.R.E. and Water Park of America Kick Off Minnesota Cybersecurity Tour April 16th at Mall of America
What: On Monday, April 16, the Stop.Think.Connect.™ – Minnesota cybersecurity awareness campaign will officially kick off a weeklong series of cyber safety events throughout the state of Minnesota. Hosted by Minnesota D.A.R.E. and Water Park of America, the event will bring together officials from the Department of Homeland Security, the Executive Office of the President of the United States, and representatives of Minnesota D.A.R.E. to speak to local residents about how to keep their families, their businesses and themselves safe online. Educational and entertaining cyber safety activities will be hosted by the Radio Disney Road Crew, Mad Science and musical guest Goldy Locks, as well as appearances by Minnesota Vikings players and local sports team mascots.
Ranked as one of America’s “top ten riskiest online cities” by Stop.Think.Connect.™ Symantec, Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota have a population that reports high levels of risky online behavior. The Stop.Think.Connect.™ – Minnesota cybersecurity awareness campaign will engage members of the state in practicing safe online habits.
